The business model of creating and selling websites, (flipping, as it were) is not dead ... in fact, not by a long shot. The problem is however, the old way of flipping websites, which most people are still using, no longer OR rarely works anymore.
If you go into any website selling marketplace, the first thing you will see are the dozens and dozens of sites with no bids or very few low bids. I would say that 80% of the sites being sold at places like Flippa.com don't sell or don't sell for the price the seller wants.
But that's not Flippa's fault or any marketplace for that matter. It's the sellers fault. They are "flipping" sites people don't want to buy.
But the good news is....
Creating and selling websites is still one of the most lucrative ways to make money online. I personally believe, with every fibre of my being that website flipping done the right way is seriously the best business model for beginners and the advanced alike.
I can say that with confidence, because I've been flipping, or should I say FLOPPING websites for over 3 years and have watched myself and everyone I've taught the right way to flip websites, bank accounts grow and grow.

Those sites literally took me a few hours to create and they sold in hours, but how about some more proof....

I won't insult your intelligence and say that was a slow week, I was VERY happy with those results. Some weeks I do better, some weeks I do less, but I make a consistent 6 figure yearly income FLOPPING websites. Even in today's economy in 2009, people still want to buy the sites I flop.

FLOPPING Exactly?
You may have never heard of website flopping before, well that's because it's something I've developed over the last few years and I've told very few people about it.
It's a term I coined to describe two different ways to flip websites for massive profits.
Unlike the old way of flipping.... FLOPPING websites is quick and easy and very profitable with little to no risk and very few expenses to get started.
1) The first way to FLOP is to sell sites (a certain category of site) that are brand new, never made a cent online before. Now these are not your typical sites you see flooding the marketplace and never selling or getting even 1 bid.
No, no. These sites are easy to create, you can outsource the whole thing and they sell everyday like clockwork. In fact, if you are completely new online and are looking for a reliable way to make your first money online, this is the best business model for you.
You can create these sites in a day and sell them that night. These sites sell for anywhere from $500 to $1500 every day of the week.
2) The second way to FLOP and my personal favorite is all about building small little content sites. 3 to 5 pages, making them slightly profitable, even just $1 a day and then flipping them, or should I say, FLOPPING them for $500 to $1000 every time.
These are not just your standard run of the mill content sites, these sites are targeted and make buyers go into a frenzy to buy them from you. You will never be short of money once you learn and implement this one particular business model.
That little description does not give the process the justice it deserves. It's one of the most powerful ways to create and sell sites online. These little sites take hours to create and often sell for 10 to 15 X what they are earning monthly.
So if you have a small site earning $1 a day, (which is extrememly easy to do) and let's say that site is a month old, you can sell that website for around $500.
Increase that to just $2 a day earnings (I mean, even bad sites earn this much) and you can flip those sites for $700 to $1000 ALL DAY LONG.
You probably think you know about this method and maybe you do know 10% or even 50% of the method, but you are still missing out on the most important parts and that is why you see sites selling for next to nothing.
I create 10 to 15 of these sites part time and I clear anywhere from $7500 to $15,000 a month literally only working a few hours a day. It's all about selling sites people WANT to buy and there is a very set list of things your site MUST have to sell for the price you want.
Get one of these wrong and you will find that you will rarely if ever sell your sites. That's not a scare tactic, it's 100% true.
So where does the term "FLOPPING" come from? Flopping basically means to flip a site that has not made money yet or is not making as much as you wanted and you decide to flip it for cash on demand to invest in those that have more potential. Sometimes you may just want an injection of money, so flopping is the perfect business model.
And that's what flopping is all about. Creating and building sites to sell instantly or to keep them for a few months and then sell them on to eager buyers for thousands of dollars.
Flopping is also about building a stable income by keeping the good sites, the sites that are making you the most money and then flipping the ones they are not and either re investing that money back into more sites or just selling them for the sake of having more money! ;)
